2026 Program Highlights

The Hindsight Film Festival fosters a dynamic community of filmmakers, historians and audiences, thoughtfully engaging with new documentary films from around the world that explore events and people who have significantly influenced the course of history.

Screenings, discussions, and social events take place over five days at the Otis S. Johnson, Ph.D. Cultural Arts Center, located in the heart of historic downtown Savannah, Georgia.

We’re working with nationally recognized documentary filmmakers and film organizations to select the most bold and evocative non-fiction stories being told right now. And we’ve partnered with local community groups and academic institutions to build a diverse audience of all ages.
